PROGRAM
YEAP OVERVIEW
Stal Gallery Young and Emerging Artists Prize (YEAP) is an annual program, which supports young and emerging Omani artists aged between 18 and 35, to develop their creative careers. This Program provides access for professional skills development, online profiling, usage of multimedia technology and displaying a wider presentation of the visual arts.
During the program Artists will develop the creative concept of their artworks, and produce the artwork. All created artworks will be featured in a final Exhibition with the Inaugural opening. The artistic Portfolio of each artist will be highlighted in an Annual edition of YEAP Catalog. During the program participating artists will attend the Gallery, getting the trainings and supervision, mentorships by the artist, curator and Stal Gallery’s Artistic Director, Hassan Al Meer, and Stal's Curatorial Team. The winner receives a Prize in the form of a Research Trip abroad, where artist will have one month Art residency, to get mentorship of international Master artists and a valuable experience.This program is supported by the Funding Sources and Cross-cultural International Partners to provide structural help for the Artists.
في النسخة الخامسة من جائزة ستال للفنانين الواعدين السنوية، تفخر صالة ستال بمواصلتها في دعم ومساندة الشباب العماني عبر هذه المبادرة. ومن خلال هذا البرنامج تتم متابعة الفنانين الشباب من قبل فنانين من أصحاب الخبرات والسمعة العالمية المرموقة. هذا البرنامج فرصة جيدة لأن يتعلم الفنانون الشباب من الفنانين الذين أسسوا مسيرتهم الفنية في عملية فكرية لوضع مفاهيم ورؤى لأفكار جديدة تضمن لهم إيصال رسالتهم الفنية عبر أعمالهم بشكل فلسفي و جمالي في الوقت نفسه.
هذا المعرض منظم تحت إدارة حسن المير (مدير ومشرف المعرض) و روان المحروقي.
هذه الأعمال تعكس فن فريد من نوعه للفنانين :مجاهد المالكي ,هاديه القاسمي، بشاير النعيمي، فرح عسقول، محمود الزدجالي، ماجدة الهنائي، أروى الجهوَري، سعيد علي الجهضمي.

ABOUT APPLICANTS
The program offers national or international training and development programs through participation in: training and supervision, mentorships by the Artist and curator Hassan Meer; structured experiences; exhibition in the gallery; art research trip abroad.
The following conditions can apply: Independent artists, arts workers, cultural workers who: have OMANI nationality; are aged between 18 and 35 years at the time of the application; preferably who has background in the field of Art & Design
All applicants must: be able to demonstrate effective time management and attend meetings; be able to create artworks and the conceptual presentation of their art; travel abroad to a partner art institution for professional mentoring
