ARTWORK STATEMENT:
In Shades of Oman, H.H SayyidaH Afra Bint Talal Al Said introduces a series of mixed-media paintings that blend traditional Omani fabrics with the natural motif of palm frond shadows - a familiar sight across the Omani landscape. The layered textures, subtle color palettes, and fabric integrations offer a meditative experience for the viewer. Drawing from her deep connection to nature and the textures of local life, her works move between the physical and the emotional, between what is seen and what is remembered.
H.H Sayyidah Afra Bint Talal Al Said use of materials is intentional and symbolic. The textiles speak to cultural heritage, while the soft interplay of shadow and color creates a contemplative atmosphere. Her technique offers a quiet, almost spiritual rhythm. Sayyidah Afra paints not only what she observes, but what she holds within - memories, landscapes, and emotions filtered through texture and tone.

H.H Sayyidah Afra Bint Talal Al Said is a multidisciplinary Omani artist who dreams of a balanced and peaceful world through her art. Her creative journey bridges the documentation of cultural heritage with contemporary expression. Art has always been her form of escape - a space where she expresses her identity and life stories by observing people and places, connecting the dots between them, and transforming these connections into mixed media artworks and installations.
Sayyida Afra has participated in five local exhibitions in Oman and has also been featured in the prestigious Konooz Fine Art Auction in London. Her role as a judge on the panel for Fraud’s Got Talent reflects her active involvement in supporting emerging talent and promoting community arts initiatives.

صاحبة السمو السيدة/ عفراء بنت طلال ال سعيد هي فنانة عُمانية متعددة التجارب في الفن ، تشعر بشغف دائم لتعلم شيء جديد كل يوم. تمثل رحلتها الإبداعية جسرًا يربط بين التراث الثقافي والتعبير المعاصر، لطالما كان الفن لغتها السرية ملاذًا تعبر فيه عن هويتها من خلال استكشاف الناس والأماكن وربط النقاط بينها .
تستكشف في أعمالها موضوعات مثل الهوية والذاكرة والمشهد الحضري المتطور، مستلهمةً التقاليد العُمانية مع دمج تقنيات حديثة مثل الوسائط المتعددة وفن التركيب.
شاركت السيدة عفراء في خمس معارض محلية في عُمان، بما في ذلك معارض في فندق جراند حياة، وأسبوع عُمان للتصميم، والموج، والواجهة البحرية. كما ظهرت في مزاد كونوز للفنون الجميلة المرموقه في لندن. وبرزت دورها كمحكمة في لجنة تحكيم برنامج "فرودز غوت تالنت" في مشاركتها الفاعلة في دعم المواهب الناشئة ومبادرات الفنون المجتمعية.
مع حضورها المتزايد في المشهد الفني المحلي والدولي، تواصل عفراء تقديم أعمال مؤثرة تدعو المشاهدين إلى استلهام افكار جديدة من خلال تقديمها اعمال مغايرة وجديدة .

Each artwork ships individually, so it will vary depending upon how to ship it: in a cardboard box, in a tube, in a crate. Shipping costs are paid for by the collector. We work with the international carrier's worldwide (i.e. FedEx, DHL, UPS, etc.
