Saleem Sakhi is an Omani artist.
That coexistence between him and the environment has become a source of creativity and inspiration in abstractive style. Influenced by the resettlement project of Arabian Oryx done by the Sultanate in order to safe and to protect them from extinction.
That project has become for him personally as obsessive issue prompting and inspiring him to form of Arabian Oryx paintings and sculptures as an attempt from him to remove them their barren environment to a world full of life and vitality. There is another aspect representing his art is the art of portrait and the relation between music and the desert, the synthetic works and video art. Also his studying design helped him in understanding the nature of that art.
He participated in many art exhibitions in the Sultanate and abroad as he produced creative works the where the scenes from a type of visual culture done in art formatting of that rich environment overlapping the sensory and emotional constituting a new vision and different putting forth.
